Master in Industrial Engineering and Management
We must de carbonize the whole economy. Let all of us contribute from our side to realize this dream. As an important key technology for this change, I see the role of green hydrogen undisputable. More research on this area will allow us to make X to Hydrogen technology both technically and economically feasible.
My name is Nishan Dhakal. I have master’s degree in Industrial Engineering majoring energy and resource management. (Major in bachelor was Mechanical Engineering). I am a hydrogen enthusiast. I have keen interest on techno-economical and regulatory framework concerning hydrogen economy. Currently, I am working in Berlin in area of sustainable heat transition, mostly in Power to Heat area. My research topic is “Analysis of Strategies of European Power Generators with reference to coal exit.”
Major Responsibility at the Lab:
- Providing my insights regarding techno-economic analysis of hydrogen economy in context of Nepal.
- Consultation to students regarding their project.
- Coordinating and process management of hydrogen as fuel demonstration in KU
Research Area: Coal Exit, Power to Heat, Hydrogen economy and sustainable energy transition (regulatory and policy framework)
